On Wednesday, September 18, we kicked-off a new initiative, spearheaded by Cox Automotive Canada, that brings together nine like-minded automotive industry partners, in the first-ever Canadian Automotive Industry Build. The first of ten build days throughout the months of September and October 2019, launched at Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga's Merritt build site in Mississauga, Ontario.

A huge thank you to Habitat Halton-Mississauga for hosting the Canadian Automotive Industry Build and to the teams from Cox Automotive Canada, Canadian Black Book, CARFAX Canada, Desjardins, Hyundai Canada, Scotiabank and Used Car Dealers Association for volunteering on the Merritt build site this fall.

We are grateful to Cox Automotive and their partners for their generous contribution of $100,000 and commitment to Habitat Canada and the families we serve. Thank you all for helping Canadian families lay the foundation for a brighter future and for helping them to build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership!
