Habitat awarded 57 King Charles Coronation Medals
April 28 – May 3, 2025, is National Volunteer Week and we’re celebrating the thousands of incredible volunteers who generously give their time, talents and hearts to Habitat to help build stronger, more hopeful communities every day.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of Habitat. Whether on the construction site, at Habitat for Humanity ReStores or offices, or in local board rooms, Habitat volunteers are truly at the heart of the work we do. This year’s theme Volunteers Make Waves, celebrates the valuable skills, fresh insights, energy, and creativity our volunteers bring to their roles, creating ripples of impact as they help to provide families with the opportunity for a brighter future through housing.
In 2025, we have even more reason to celebrate. That’s because 57 Habitat for Humanity volunteers were honoured to receive Coronation Medals to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. Medal recipients are exceptional volunteers of varying ages and experiences who have shown dedication and leadership while making a significant impact to their local Habitat organization and community.
