Revera Giving

Revera’s mission, vision and values are rooted in helping older adults live life to the fullest by offering and creating the best experience for people living in a Revera home.

Revera is proud of its partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada. Since 2018, Revera Giving has raised more than $1 million—equivalent to more than $4 million in social benefits—towards helping families across Canada achieve affordable homeownership. Like Habitat, Revera believes that everyone should have a decent and affordable place to call home.

Revera employees, residents and families take great pride in giving back to their communities. They’ve demonstrated this through more than 150 annual fundraising events at Long Term Care Homes and Retirement Residences across Canada, donations to Habitat ReStore locations, and by volunteering thousands of hours on Habitat build sites.

In 2019 alone, the Revera team made generous contributions to Habitat Canada and local Habitats by:

Having 262 Revera employees participate in more than 20 Habitat Build Days all across the country and contribute 1919 volunteer hours
Supporting and allocating grants to 21 local Habitats in celebration of the relationships that were built between local Revera residences and local Habitats during fundraising activities across six provinces
Becoming the Presenting Sponsor of Habitat Victoria’s “Building a Diverse Community” Gingerbread Showcase
