Join Us in Toronto for the 2026 Leadership and Annual General Meeting | May 13–14, 2026
Habitat Canada is thrilled to invite you to the 2026 Leadership and Annual General Meeting. As Habitat for Humanity International celebrates its 50th birthday, we’ll come together to explore how we can strengthen our longterm sustainability and maximize our impact here in Canada and around the world.
For new EDs and CEOs: watch for your invitation to our New ED/CEO Orientation, taking place on Tuesday, May 12 at 1:00 p.m. It’s an essential, not to miss session designed to welcome and equip all newcomers. We’ll also host an Affiliate Advisory Group dinner on Tuesday evening.
This year’s gathering features a full day of collaborative working sessions on Wednesday, May 13, diving into the issues and opportunities top-of-mind for affiliate leaders across the country. We’ll also take time to recognize our 2026 Meaning of Home winners — a highlight every year.
On Wednesday evening, join us for a special celebration as part of Habitat for Humanity’s global 50th anniversary. At the Golden Jubilee Awards Dinner, we’ll honour this year’s One Habitat and Terry Petkau Award recipients. Feel free to add a festive pop of gold and black to your outfit — purely optional, simply fun!
On Thursday, May 14, we’ll convene for the ED/CEO and Board Chair forums and close the event with our Annual General Meeting in the afternoon. Check out the full agenda for more details.
We can’t wait to gather, connect, and celebrate with you in May. Register today!
