Habitat Canada will continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation and ensure that the health and safety of all attendees is our number one priority. We will continue to follow the latest COVID-19 public health measures and advice from the Government of Manitoba.
1. Daily Screening

- runny nose
- sneezing
- new or worsening cough
- shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- temperature equal to or more than 38°C
- feeling feverish
- chills
- fatigue or weakness

- headache
- abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting
- feeling very unwell
2. Masking and Face Coverings
Masks are no longer required to be worn in indoor public spaces in Manitoba. Therefore, they will not be required at the National Conference.
However, individuals may choose to wear a mask based on personal preference. Please be respectful of other’s choices.
You can reduce the spread of respiratory droplets and aerosols and decrease your risk of becoming infected by properly wearing a well-made, well-fitting mask. For more information on masking, please click here.
3. Hand Hygiene
- Practicing good hygiene is of equal importance.
- Please ensure to wash or sanitize your hands frequently and to cough or sneeze into your sleeve, tissue, or your facemask.
4. COVID-19 Vaccination
While we will not require proof of vaccination for attendance, Habitat Canada strongly encourages all individuals attending the conference to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
