The Opportunity

Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings (HFHPEH) is currently hiring a team to help families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership in Prince Edward County and Hastings County. HFHPEH is seeking a Fund Development Manager to start full-time in the fall of 2019 as a member of that team.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the position is responsible for developing a sustainable fund development program to generate revenue to support Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings (HFHPEH)’s mission to help local families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. The primary functions of the position are to focus heavily on strategic partnership development and the development of a strong individual giving program. Other key responsibilities will include proposal writing, the development of a direct mail program, the development and implementation of a legacy giving program, corporate and foundation research, and donor stewardship aimed at meeting the revenue goals of HFHPEH as established in the annual budget and the strategic plan. The Fund Development Manager will provide coordination and management for the planning, implementation and evaluation of HFHPEH’s fund development strategies. The position will develop strategies to secure corporate, individual and other sources of revenue. Ongoing management and development of stewardship relationships is integral to the role.
