Volunteer in your Community

Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity is a great way to learn new skills, and give back to the community.

An excellent way to build team spirit with your company is to get everyone involved in an
Adopt-a-Day build - click here to find out more.

If you would like to get involved with volunteering on a house build:
Please note that approved safety shoes or steel toed work boots are a requirement on all Canadian build sites and must be provided by the volunteer. Hard hats and safety glasses are normally provided by the affiliate.

Children under 16 years of age are not permitted on construction sites, but may help out in other ways. Find out more.

"I'm so grateful for our home...I cannot even imagine where we would be now if it were not for Habitat's helping hand," says Desiree Kirby. Read more true stories from real people who've been helped by Habitat and volunteers of Habitat.
