Various Volunteer Positions for ReStore - HFH Halton
Habitat for Humanity Halton is looking for volunteers to join their ReStore team located at 1800 Appleby Line, Unit 10 Burlington, Ontario.

Please note all volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
ReStore - Cash and Pricing Personnel
This volunteer position provides customer service to ReStore customers, prices items for resale and performs cash/credit transactions.
This position is ideal for individuals able to work with a team or independently, who are friendly and outgoing and able to commit 4 hours on a weekly basis.
ReStore – General Help Personnel
This volunteer position provides customer service, helps with general housekeeping tasks, assists with pick ups, loading/unloading product, repairs damaged items and assembles products to sell in the ReStore.
This position is ideal for individuals able to work with a team or independently and who are able to commit 4 hours on a weekly basis. Carpentry experience would be an asset but not mandatory.
Please note this position requires moving, loading and unloading heavy items.
ReStore – Product Testers
This volunteer position tests and/or fixes donated products. Products include electrical, plumbing and security (locks) items.
This position is ideal for individuals with an electrical, plumbing or locksmith background, able to work with a team or independently and who are able to commit 4 hours on a weekly basis.
ReStore – Drivers
This volunteer position drives HFHH trucks for product pick ups in the Halton Region, loads and unloads donated merchandise.
This position is ideal for individuals 25 years of age or older (as per our insurance requirements), has a valid G license, proof of insurance and who are able to commit 4 hours on a weekly basis.

ReStore – Salvage Crew Members
This volunteer position helps "salvage” items from demolition sites and removes kitchen and bathroom cabinetry from homes to resell in the ReStore. Knowledge of construction and what can be reused is an asset but not mandatory. Individuals must be available during business hours as most "salvages” occur in the mornings from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday.

ReStore – Salvage Crew Leaders
This volunteer position follows up directly with potential kitchen donors arranging a time to view the potential salvage. The leaders also ensure the waivers are signed by the donor and take leadership on scheduling the crew needed to salvage the kitchen.
Knowledge of construction and what can be reused is an asset but not mandatory. Individuals must be available during business hours as most "salvages” occur in the mornings from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday. This position requires a valid driver’s license as driving our vehicles for pick ups are mandatory.
