MCAP Launches Key to Hope Program

Key to Hope is an innovative way for professional mortgage brokers to provide their customers with an opportunity to support Habitat by adding a donation amount to each mortgage payment and help Habitat's Partner Families realize their dreams of homeownership. Canadians with mortgages - especially those who are first time home buyers - know the benefits homeownership brings: stronger communities, stability for families and happier, more confident and productive children. Canadians want to support socially responsible causes with the goods they purchase and services they use. Key to Hope provides the opportunity for them to do just that along with their regular mortgage payments.

Key to Hope is available now to clients arranging new mortgages through MCAP's participating brokers. It will be introduced to over 100,000 existing MCAP mortgage customers in 2010. We are excited about the possibilities for this program and we look forward to working with MCAP, their broker partners and their customers in providing the Key to Hope across Canada.
