International Homebuilding Programs
Habitat for Humanity Canada’s goal is to be building 500 houses per year internationally by the year 2010 – one house for every one that is constructed by our affiliates in Canada!
Habitat for Humanity organizations are present in almost 100 countries. Habitat for Humanity Canada has chosen to concentrate its international homebuilding efforts in the countries listed below. Please do not submit donations for countries which are not listed below. Please note that Global Village teams are not necessarily restricted to these countries.

** The countries in bold are eligible for matching funds from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) - i.e. Lesotho, Nepal & Tajikistan
Spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by the Board of Directors of HFH Canada. Each restricted contribution designated towards such an approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by HFH Canada, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where needed most.
