| Dear Friend of Habitat,
With the holidays drawing near, our thoughts go to friends and family gathering together and enjoying the spirit of the season. And in the spirit of the season, our thoughts also go to those that aren’t able to invite others to celebrate in the warmth and safety of their homes – living in unsafe and unaffordable conditions and caught in a vicious cycle of poverty, without funds to celebrate this time of year.
In this issue we share with you ways to support Habitat for Humanity while buying gifts, or through other activities. Thanks to your support, Habitat for Humanity Canada helps families in need help themselves out of their cycle of poverty, and allows them to create happy and healthy homes that they can take pride in.
All the best,
Habitat for Humanity Canada |

MCAP Encourages Matching Contributions to Habitat
MCAP is a mortgage industry leader and longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity Canada. They have developed a new program to generate even more funds for Habitat! Every year MCAP and its employees raise funds and join the thousands of volunteers who come out and help build homes. With their continued support in 2010 and beyond, MCAP's new program will take giving to the next level by enabling homeowners themselves to help transform the lives of families in need.
